"The year 2018, in the autumn of which the iCE KiNG project turns 15 years, deserves a special treat:
full albums 7 + 8 combined in the double jewel case TWiCE KiNG. The first disc (Monarkey - Instrumental Speech II)
contains, for the first time, exclusively keyboard instrumentals, rather secretly composed on the longest winter nights
over all these years. The second disc (Alive and Kicking Ice - An Unexpected Recording) is, also for the first time,
a reclaimed fan recording indeed of a full iCE KiNG concert, as usual with B tuned guitar and vocals, at the end of 2017.
The setlist, being a different one every concert still, consists of songs from
every previous album, and even following one. iCE KiNG has been, is and will be what a single malt is elsewhere:
atmospheric, pungent and above all distinct.
Of course, not going with the flow has not been very rewarding, but 'It is better to be a human being dissatisfied than a pig satisfied;
better to be Socrates dissatisfied than a fool satisfied.
